Ralph, dean of Lothian, John, persona of Pencaitland, Robert, persona of Methven, and Richard of Kelso, rector of the church of Kinghorn, announce that they have carried out an inquest into the vicarage revenues of Haddington, with the authority of William, bishop of St Andrews, in the presence and with the consent of David of Berwick, then vicar. In particular, oblations, obventions of the living and the dead in the whole parish, as much from chapels as the mother church, and all teinds of the business of the burgesses and other traders, all contractors, all teinds of curtilage and from wall-spaces within the burgh, with half the teinds of hay, the same portions paid by the vicar, having been assigned by the authority of the said Sir William towards the maintenance of all episcopal burdens and synodals touching the said church, saving to the prior and convent of St Andrews all other small teinds and things coming to the church, with the teinds of wheat.
