Patrick, earl of Dunbar, for Melrose Abbey; has given one ploughgate of land which he perambulated with Adam, abbot of Melrose, and with his responsible men (near Greenlaw, ELO). He has given these lands and whatever is within these bounds to grange of said monks at ‘Edmundestun’ (near Stenton, ELO). The earl acquits monks of all forinsec service owed to lord king.
