Description (from People of Medieval Scotland)

Robert de Brus has given and granted, and by his charter established to Roger Crispin the whole land of ‘Cnoculeran’ (DMF), by stated marches, to hold of Robert and his heirs in feu and heritage with common pasture of Dalton, Little Dalton and Mousewald (DMF), saving that the men of the land of Roger shall have multure and pannage. He gives this in exchange for his land of Kinmount (DMF) and a half ploughgate of land which he held in the feu of Moffat (DMF), which is next to Elrebec, for the service of a twentieth of a knight.
