Description (from People of Medieval Scotland)
Adam son of Patrick Marshall has given and granted and made firm by this his present charter to Saint Cuthbert and Saint Ebbe and the prior and monks of Coldingham, in pure and perpetual alms, his homage and service that William Broun of Reston and his heirs owed to him and his heirs for the land in the plain of Reston that he gave to the same William and his heirs for his service; and the said William and his heirs shall render to Coldingham priory 6d. annually as ferme; and the said William and his heirs shall give for heriot 12d., and for forfeiture 12d..
