David of Quixwood has given and made firm by this his present charter in free, pure and perpetual alms for the building of the church of Coldingham to St Mary, St Cuthbert, St Ebbe, and the monks of Durham at Coldingham, 16 acres of his land in the territory of Coldingham with a third of his toft and croft at the western side of the villa of Coldingham, all of which he has in exchange for his land that he once had in the villa of Oldcambus (specified in detail).
