Robert de Brus, lord of Annandale, has given, granted and quitclaimed to David of Torthorwald that no fines for escaped animals will be levied between the barony of Annandale and the tenement of Torthorwald except as noted: for ten fowl, 1d.; for ten sheep, 1d.; for ten goats, 1.d; for ten swine, 1d.; for a horse ½d.
