Models of Authority Project at DH2015
The Models of Authority project will be represented at DH2015, the principle Digital Humanities conference which this year will be held at the University of Western Sydney. I (Peter Stokes) will present on 'The Problem of Digital Dating: A Model for Uncertainty in Medieval Documents' at 9am on Friday, 3 July in Room EA.2.29. This paper will continue work done for the DigiPal project represented in the 'Problems of Digital Dating' discussion there. In particular, I will propose some new ways of representing dates, and will also present some prototype/proof-of-concept visualisations that try to represent more accurately what we really mean by 'early twelfth century' (and so on).
