Prior Bertram (I) and convent of Durham, in consideration of affection and on account of love and reverence for Blessed Ebba the virgin, have given and by their charter granted 5 marks for building at church of Coldingham, which they were accustomed to receiving from sacrist of altar of Coldingham.
