Patrick son of Sir P[atrick] (I) earl of Dunbar states that in 1232 he received from the prior and convent of Coldingham Priory 160 marks of the 200 marks owed him for the quitclaim of the demesne land and villa of Swinwood (BWK) with all pertinents, to the payment of which 200 marks Sir W[alter] Olifard, justiciar of Lothian, and Sir Ralph of Bunkle are pledges.
