Roderic MacGillescop and Christina, his spouse, daughter of Roger of Skelbrooke, has granted and by this our charter established to Melrose Abbey, in free, pure and perpetual alms, the donation which Roger of Skelbrooke made to the monks of the fishery of Don above ‘Harenam’ (AYR), one saltpan with the lands, tofts and all the easements which are contained in the charter of Roger, just as the charter of Roger testifies. Additionally, they granted the whole land of ‘Drumteisuiene’, ‘Alesburc’ and ‘Auchenephur’ (near Brown Carrick Hill, AYR), as the charter of Roger and the confirmation of their lord, Duncan, testifies.
