Guy de Normanville has granted and by this his charter established to Melrose Abbey that donation which Sir Thomas de Normanville, his brother made to them within the land of Maxton (ROX), which Sir Thomas de Normanville held from him in exchange for his land of Angus, with the messuage, toft, croft, freedoms and easements as is contained in the charter which the abbot and convent had from Sir Thomas de Normanville, his brother.
