King Alexander for Thomas de Alneto (Aunay); has given Burntscarthgreen, Auchencrieff and Dargavel (DMF), by the right marches by which William, son of Derman, held them, and which William, son of William, son of Derman, quitclaimed by staff and baton to king in his court at Dumfries; to be held by Thomas and his heirs in feu and heritage, with pit and gallows, soke and sake, toll, team and infangthief, for fourth part of one knight's service.
