Notification by William, bishop of St Andrews, of a composition dated 17 August 1204 between the bishop of St Andrews and the prior and convent of Durham and the church of Coldingham, concerning the cain and conveth, procurations, custody, institutions to and visitation of churches in the diocese of St Andrews pertaining to Durham (including Aldcambus, Lamberton and Fishwick), with Durham receiving rights and privileges in return for the chapels of Newton and Nenthorn, mother church Ednam.
