Simon, son of Thomas, has given to Coldingham Priory the homage and service that William Broun of Reston and his heirs owed to him in return for the land that he gave to the same William and his heirs for their homage and service in the plain of Auchencrow with all escheats, etc. William and his heirs to render to the monastery of Coldingham by way of ferme a pound of cumin or 4 pence at the feast of St John Baptist in return for all other service, etc.
