Prior Bertram (I) and convent of Durham for their clerk, Stephen Bovenell; have given teinds of wheat of Little Swinton (BWK) and all teinds of wheat of lands called 'Threpland', which was previously contested between Durham and Earl Patrick, to possess for his lifetime with toft and croft in western part of Great Swinton, which is called Gosecroft, which extends from south of road towards Roxburgh, rendering annually to mother church of Swinton one pound of white incense at feast of St Michael
