Simon of Lindsey gave, granted and by this his charter established to Patrick, his man and […] [for] his homage and service, in his land of Mow (ROX) which Simon held by the gift of Simon’s mother, six acres of land and one acre of meadow [and …] acre and a half acre in the toft and croft and one acre of meadow from the land nearest by ‘Eredeburesburne’ and ‘Subchestres’ […] and two acres and a half above ‘Selestede ade’, to be held from him and his successors, in feu and heritage. He is to return to Simon and his heirs one pound of cumin or three pennies at the feast of Saint James for all service, and he is to provide forinsec service. (damaged)
