Master W[illiam] of Lindsay, dean of Glasgow, makes known that in his presence Abbot [Herbert] and the convent of Kelso resigned and quitclaimed in perpetuity to Walter, son of Alan, steward of Scotland, his heirs and attorneys, whatever rights they had in the lands and pastures of Mow within the portion of Walter, son of Alan, steward of Scotland, and also the commune they had in the moor of Innerwick (ELO). Henceforth they shall reclaim no rights to the same, in exchange for a certain part of that moor of Innerwick by the stated marches.
