Robert, bishop of St Andrews, for Holyrood Abbey; has granted church of Tranent (ELO), as Waleran, the chaplain, once held it, reserving tenure of Waleran, the chaplain, while he remains a secular, as King Malcolm, with advice of his barons, gave church of Tranent to abbey. He wishes that the canons shall obtain that church after Waleran leaves, reserving episcopal right.
