Roger de Quincy, earl of Winchester, constable of Scotland, has given, granted, and established by his charter, to Holyrood Abbey, and their tenants of Preston (ELO), who are to be quit in perpetuity of the suit of his mill of Tranent (ELO), and of all multure of grain of his whole land of Preston, pertaining to his church of Tranent.
